The Chinmaya Amrit Yatra is a 295-day pilgrimage across Bharat, Nepal and Sri Lanka, covering over 200 cities. It honours the legacy of Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda and began on 31 December 2025 at Chinmaya Vibhooti, Pune. It culminates at Bharat Mandapam, Delhi on 23 October 2026, as Chinmaya Mission completes 75 years.
The Temple on Wheels carries the Yatra from city to city. It is a mobile exhibition of sacred artefacts and memorabilia connected with Gurudev, and its aim is to spread dynamic spirituality, life values and the essence of the Bhagavad Gita.
5 Shlokas. 1 Essence.
Gita Panchamrit is a daily practice built around five carefully chosen verses of the Bhagavad Gita. Pujya Guruji Swami Tejomayananda and Pujya Swami Swaroopananda picked the five from its 700 verses so that anyone can learn and remember them.
One should lift oneself by oneself; one should not lower oneself. The mind is verily one's friend; the mind is one's own enemy.
Thy right is to work only, but never to its fruits; let the fruit of action not be thy motive, nor let thy attachment be to inaction.
Whatever you do, whatever you eat, whatever you offer in sacrifice, whatever you give in charity, whatever you practice as austerity, O Kaunteya! Do it as an offering to Me.
To those who worship Me alone, thinking of no other, to those ever self-controlled, I provide what they need and preserve what they already possess.
Abandoning all dharmas (of the body, mind and intellect), take refuge in Me alone; I will liberate thee from all sins; grieve not.
